Our staff provide onsite training, technical assistance, grant writing assistance, and project development and management for rural North Carolinians, focusing on water, wastewater, and affordable housing issues affecting low and moderate income communities.
We initiate innovative community development planning efforts that create effective partnerships and provide opportunities for economic growth that sustain environmental quality and build upon cultural and social assets of rural North Carolina.
We coordinate and conduct trainings and workshops for residents, organizations, and public officials about water and wastewater planning and management, and related public health, environmental, community development issues.
We monitor and contribute to state and local policies regarding public health and environmental issues.
